Tango: Midnight, composed for symphonic band, is in ternary form and a minor key.  A delicate and light-hearted first theme featuring the woodwind section contrasts with a lyrical second section

introduced first by the brass before a full band repetition. The A section returns with an accompanied duet between the flute and tenor saxophone before slowly unraveling to a graceful finish. It is approximately 4 minutes long, and a Grade 3 difficulty level.
